Your face,
written in your name.

Choose a photo, or turn on the camera, and type your name. Every bright part of the picture becomes a letter, so your face gets printed in your own name, row by row. The photo never leaves your device.

How a photo becomes text

One letter per cell

The picture is shrunk to a small grid, about one cell per character. Each cell's brightness decides how bright its letter is, so light parts glow and dark parts fade away.

Light or dark photos

It adjusts by itself

The contrast is stretched so the face fills the full range. If most of the photo is bright, like a selfie against a white wall, it flips automatically so the face still stands out on the dark screen.
